About The Position

Lincoln Tech is seeking experienced welders to teach in its Welding program at the Lincoln, Rhode Island campus. Instructors deliver lessons using the school’s accredited training program and provide hands-on instruction in a fully equipped facility. They teach welding principles, safety procedures, and industry standards while supporting students’ professionalism, accountability, and continued improvement. Instructors assess student performance, communicate progress, and prepare students with skills and knowledge for careers in Welding Technology. Prior teaching experience is not required; comprehensive training is provided. Full-time and part-time evening positions are available.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of field experience in pipe welding and/or structural welding.
• Experience with GMAW (MIG), GTAW (TIG), SMAW (stick), FCAW (flux-cored arc), and plasma cutting.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Teach Welding Technologies classes using Lincoln Tech’s accredited training program.
• Provide hands-on welding training in the facility to develop students’ practical skills.
• Teach safety procedures and industry standards.
• Encourage professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement among students.
• Create a positive, interactive classroom atmosphere that motivates and engages students.
• Assess student performance and provide clear feedback on progress.
• Prepare students with the skills and knowledge needed for careers in Welding Technology.
