Requirements

Experienced welder with a strong grasp of production flow
Comfortable working with Plant Leadership to execute and achieve the goals for your department
Keeps safety a top priority and makes sure your team understands and follows proper procedures and techniques
Effective communicator who likes working with a diverse team
Problem solver who enjoys working with others
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Proficiency in using hand tools and operating machinery
Familiarity with basic math and measurements

Responsibilities

Executing the Production Plan set by Plant Leadership
Interpreting standard production drawings and job specifications to ensure your team executes builds successfully
Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications and quality of output
Trouble shoot repairs needed for equipment and/or defective materials
Supervise safety of all employees and machine/tool usage
Train and develop your team members
Maintain a clean and orderly work area
Focus on building product
