About The Position

The Welding Machine Maintenance Team Member at TOYOTETSU TEXAS (TTTX) ensures the optimal performance and reliability of welding machinery within the manufacturing facility. The role includes regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to minimize downtime and improve production efficiency. The team member works with other maintenance professionals to uphold safety standards and improve machine functionality.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding machine maintenance or a related field within the manufacturing industry.
• Proven track record of diagnosing and repairing welding machinery and equipment.
• Experience with preventive maintenance procedures and practices in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to document maintenance activities and communicate with team members.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols related to welding and machinery maintenance.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and maintenance record-keeping.

• Technical certification in welding or machinery maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on welding machines to ensure optimal operation and longevity.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot welding equipment issues and implement effective solutions.
• Repair equipment and replace defective parts to restore functionality promptly.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules.
• Comply with safety regulations and company policies during maintenance activities.
