About The Position
The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating industrial forklifts to move raw materials, finished goods, and supplies throughout the facility. This role plays a critical part in supporting production, shipping, and receiving by ensuring materials are transported efficiently and stored accurately while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating forklifts
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility
- Supply production lines with materials and remove finished products as needed
- Move inventory to designated storage and staging areas
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and report equipment issues promptly
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and warehouse activities
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work collaboratively with production, shipping, and warehouse teams to meet daily goals
