This position requires eligibility to access controlled unclassified information (CUI) and export controlled data, and candidates must meet applicable federal requirements, including U.S. person status where required. This role is onsite in Danville, VA. The Welding Instructor will deliver hands-on welding instruction in a fast-paced workforce training environment. This role is responsible for preparing students for careers in advanced manufacturing by teaching welding fundamentals, industry best practices, and practical applications aligned with employer needs. As a Welding Instructor, you will help build the skilled workforce needed by manufacturers throughout Virginia and the nation. Through engaging instruction and mentorship, you will prepare students to enter high-demand careers with the technical skills, professionalism, and confidence needed to succeed. You will also collaborate with fellow instructors and program leadership to maintain the high-quality training experience that has become a hallmark of IALR's advanced manufacturing programs.
