This position requires eligibility to access controlled unclassified information (CUI) and export controlled data, and candidates must meet applicable federal requirements, including U.S. person status where required. This role is onsite in Danville, VA. As an Additive Manufacturing Instructor, you will deliver hands-on technical training that prepares students for careers in advanced manufacturing and the defense industrial base. You will develop and deliver curriculum, provide classroom and laboratory instruction, mentor adult learners, and ensure students gain the skills needed to succeed in modern manufacturing environments. This role requires a passion for teaching, technical expertise in additive manufacturing, and the flexibility to support accelerated training schedules. As an Additive Manufacturing Instructor in the Accelerated Training in Defense Manufacturing (ATDM) program, you will help develop the next generation of skilled manufacturing professionals. Through curriculum development, hands-on instruction, and student mentorship, you will prepare adult learners for careers supporting the nation's defense industrial base. Your technical expertise, instructional leadership, and commitment to student success will ensure trainees develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to excel in advanced manufacturing environments.
