Welding Instructor
About The Position
Lincoln Tech is seeking experienced welders to teach Welding Technologies classes at its Lincoln, Rhode Island campus. Instructors deliver lessons using Lincoln Tech’s accredited training program and provide hands-on instruction in a fully equipped facility. They teach welding principles, safety procedures, and industry standards while supporting students’ professionalism, accountability, and continued improvement. Instructors assess and communicate student progress and prepare students with the skills and knowledge to pursue careers in Welding Technology. Prior teaching experience is not required; comprehensive training is provided. Full-time and part-time evening positions are available. The role offers a four-day work week.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of field experience in pipe welding and/or structural welding.
- Experience with GMAW (MIG), GTAW (TIG), SMAW (Stick), FCAW (flux-cored arc), and plasma cutting.
- High school diploma or GED.
Nice To Haves
- Prior teaching experience is not required; comprehensive training is provided.
