About The Position

Lincoln Tech is seeking an experienced welder to teach in its Welding program. The instructor delivers lessons using Lincoln Tech's accredited training program and provides hands-on welding instruction in a fully equipped facility. The role emphasizes safety, industry standards, student professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement. The instructor assesses student performance, communicates feedback, and prepares students with skills and knowledge for careers in Welding Technology. Prior teaching experience is not required; training is provided.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of field experience in pipe welding and/or structural welding.
• Experience with GMAW (MIG), GTAW (TIG), SMAW (Stick), FCAW (Flux-cored arc), and plasma cutting.

Responsibilities

• Teach Welding Technologies classes using Lincoln Tech's accredited training program.
• Provide practical welding training in the facility to develop students' skills.
• Teach safety procedures and industry standards.
• Support students' professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Motivate and engage students in a positive, interactive classroom environment.
• Assess student performance and provide clear feedback on progress.
• Prepare students with the skills and knowledge needed for careers in Welding Technology.
