About The Position
Lincoln Tech is hiring a Low Voltage Technician Instructor for its Electrical and Electronic Systems program in Marietta, Georgia. The instructor delivers practical, hands-on instruction in a fully equipped facility and teaches Lincoln Tech’s accredited curriculum. The role prepares students for careers in electrical and electronic systems by teaching technical skills, safety, and industry regulations while supporting student growth and progress. Teaching experience is not required; Lincoln Tech supports industry professionals transitioning into teaching. The position offers a four-day work week and a $3,000 sign-on bonus, subject to the terms of Lincoln Tech’s Employee Sign-on Bonus Agreement. Staffing agency candidates are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in the residential, commercial, or industrial electrical industry.
- Experience installing and servicing electrical equipment.
- Understanding of single-phase and three-phase systems.
- Knowledge of codes.
- High school diploma or GED.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of motor controls, lighting controls, or solar.
- Experience or knowledge of low-voltage systems.
- Teaching experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver practical, hands-on instruction in Electrical and Electronics Systems using the facility’s equipment.
- Teach the Lincoln Tech accredited course curriculum and ensure students understand electrical systems.
- Teach safety procedures and industry regulations for real-world applications.
- Encourage professionalism, accountability, and continued student development.
- Assess student performance, communicate progress, and provide feedback to guide improvement.
- Prepare students with the skills and knowledge needed for careers in the field.
