About The Position

The Welding Instructor is responsible for teaching and carrying out the professional responsibilities and activities normally expected of community college faculty, as described by Board Policies and the California Education Code. The instructor is expected to demonstrate professional excellence and continuous growth in teaching.

Requirements

• Meet one of the following qualification pathways: a bachelor’s degree and two years of professional experience; an associate degree and six years of professional experience; or a valid California Community College Credential authorizing service in the appropriate subject matter.
• Demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
