About The Position

Lincoln Tech is seeking experienced welders to teach in its Welding program at the Lincoln, Rhode Island campus. Instructors deliver lessons using Lincoln Tech’s accredited training program and provide hands-on instruction in a fully equipped facility. The role emphasizes welding safety and industry standards while supporting students’ professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement. Instructors assess student performance, communicate progress, and help prepare students for careers in Welding Technology. Prior teaching experience is not required; training is provided.

The posting describes both full-time and part-time opportunities. The part-time evening schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. The role is offered with a four-day work week and competitive pay and benefits.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of field experience in pipe welding and/or structural welding.
• Experience with GMAW (MIG), GTAW (TIG), SMAW (Stick), FCAW (Flux-cored arc), and plasma cutting.
• High school diploma or GED.

• Prior teaching experience is not required; comprehensive training is provided.
