Job Summary:
The Welding Apprentice will learn welding techniques and manufacturing processes while working under the guidance of experienced welders. This position is responsible for assisting with fabrication, assembly, and welding tasks while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Interest in welding and manufacturing careers.
• Ability to learn technical skills and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good attendance and reliability.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment.

• Successful completion of the apprenticeship program may lead to advancement into a Welder position.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced welders with welding and fabrication activities.
• Learn and perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding techniques as assigned.
• Read and interpret basic blueprints and work instructions.
• Prepare materials, tools, and equipment for welding operations.
• Inspect finished work for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in apprenticeship training and development programs.
• Work effectively with team members and supervisors.
