The Los Rios Community College District is seeking qualified candidates for this part-time, temporary (Adjunct) faculty position. The adjunct faculty member shall be responsible for teaching assigned classes, helping students fulfill their maximum potential in mastering course content, assessing student learning outcomes, maintaining a thorough and up-to-date knowledge in their regular teaching field, continuing professional development, utilizing current technology, maintaining standards of professional conduct and ethics, assisting with articulation and curriculum development and review, serving on college committees and participating in faculty governance including accreditation and student co-curricular activities, and assuming other responsibilities as assigned by the area dean. The instructional assignment may include teaching courses such as WELD 105 Introduction to Metal Sculpture, WELD 107 Welding Equipment Maintenance, WELD 115 Code Welding, WELD 117 Ultrasonic Testing Level One, WELD 118 Ultrasonic Testing Level Two, WELD 140 Mathematics for Welding Technicians, WELD 150 Employability Skills for Technical Careers, and WELD 155 Industry Training.
