Adjunct Professor
About The Position
The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the System College of Pharmacy (SCP) of UNT Health Fort Worth is seeking to hire an Adjunct Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences with a background in Immunology and Industry Practice. The successful applicant will report to the Chair of the Department and will contribute to the development of the educational program of the College of Pharmacy. The successful applicant will provide expertise in teaching the foundational science aspects of the Doctor of Pharmacy and graduate (certificate, Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy) curriculum in Immunology or Industry Practice.
Requirements
- A PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical sciences, Immunology, and/or Industry Practice.
- Knowledge of PharmD and graduate-level pharmacy education.
- Knowledge of instructional methods and curriculum delivery.
- Effective teaching and presentation skills.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
- Strong organizational and collaboration skills.

- Teaching experience in a graduate or professional program.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of the educational program of the College of Pharmacy.
- Provide expertise in teaching the foundational science aspects of the Doctor of Pharmacy and graduate (certificate, Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy) curriculum in Immunology or Industry Practice.
- Teach PharmD and graduate pharmaceutical sciences courses.
- Contribute to curriculum implementation and student learning.
- Work collaboratively with faculty and maintain a professional, collaborative, learning environment.
