About The Position
Primary duty is to ensure welding quality and productivity standards that meet Toyota Material Handling's (TMH) standards along with maintaining a safe working condition for yourself and others around you.
Requirements
- Must successfully complete and pass TMH's weld certification process
- Must possess knowledge of flammable materials
- High school diploma or GED required
Nice To Haves
- Experience or knowledge in spot and robot welding is preferred
- Previous manufacturing weld experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Ensure safety of welding operations through knowledge and training of welding techniques
- Continually operate in a safe manner by always following Toyota Material Handling's (TMH) safe practices
- Utilize MIG welding style as primary weld technique
- Perform gas cutting and finishing, along with joint leakage checks as necessary
- Utilize industrial tools to grind metal parts as part of the forklift assembly process. Materials may vary in thickness and size
- Maintain quality standards of welding and setup
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
- Additional duties as assigned
