About The Position

The Welder performs a wide variety of welding operations in the creation and development of items in assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. They determine and/or follow methods and sequence of operations in such actions and make setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications. Key focus areas: Ensures that all welds meet quality assurance standards. Determines appropriate welds per specifications. Efficiently and effectively manages time and resources. Various other duties as necessary.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• The ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
• Above average math skills and the ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Knowledge of basic shop tools.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Critical attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Welding School Degree/Certificate highly preferred.
