About The Position

Signal Energy is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The Welder will be responsible for performing various welding tasks according to project plans and safety standards. This role requires a strong understanding of different welding techniques and materials, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team in various environments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Welder.
• Welding certification (such as AWS or ASME) preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical condition and endurance.
• Must pass a welding test.

Nice To Haves

• Welding certification (such as AWS or ASME)

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other written instructions and diagrams to perform the task at hand.
• Perform MIG, TIG, stick, and flux-cored welding on various metals, including stainless steel, galvanized steel, and aluminum.
• Ensure work is done safely, efficiently, and meets quality standards.
• Use a variety of tools and equipment such as plasma cutters, grinders, and hand tools.
• Follow established safety procedures and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Clean and maintain work area and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
