About The Position

Midwest Finishing Systems is hiring a Welder for customized welding work supporting the design, fabrication, and installation of turnkey industrial finishing and powder coating systems. The role is intended for someone with SMAW (stick) welding experience who is interested in varied work rather than repetitive production welding. The position is based in the Michiana area and requires travel, typically for one to two weeks at a time. Requirements

• SMAW (stick) welding experience is required.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Excellent attendance.
• Willingness to travel for one to two weeks at a time.
• Team-player mentality.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check; DUI, reckless driving, or excessive at-fault accidents may be disqualifying.
