About The Position
This intermediate level position completes assigned tasks in order to perform fitting and welding work on compression and production equipment. Expand Energy Corporation's operations are focused on discovering and developing its large and geographically diverse resource base of unconventional oil and natural gas assets onshore in the United States.
Requirements
- Intermediate ability to perform basic welding techniques
- Intermediate ability to read and understand blueprints
- Intermediate ability to interpret customer's specifications and applicable industry codes and standards
- Possess basic computer skills, communication skills, and customer service skills
- High school diploma or GED and 2 years related work experience or an equivalent substitution for education of 6 - 9 years related work experience
Responsibilities
- Provide information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person
- Work with SMAW, GMAW, SCAW, and SAW welding processes
- Work independently as well as in a team environment focusing on teamwork and unity
- Layout structural and piping components using hand tools
- Position fixtures, jigs, roll, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned
