About The Position

This role involves assembling and TIG welding aerospace castings and details. The welder will use fixtures, tools, and gauges to produce aerospace parts that meet blueprint drawing tolerances, following detailed work instructions and practicing weld procedures per GE and Nadcap/AWS specifications. The position requires working in a team environment, participating in Action Workouts, and contributing to a LEAN Manufacturing workplace. Additionally, the welder must practice safe work habits and maintain a hazard-free work environment. This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information, and employment is contingent upon the ability to prove status as a U.S. Person (U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, or granted asylee or refugee status).

Requirements

Minimum of two years Gas Tungsten Arc (Heliarc) welding experience
Pass Gas Tungsten Arc Weld test on nickel base, cobalt base and stainless steel alloys (groove and fillet welding per MIL-W-1595)
Must be able to complete qualification training on nickel and cobalt per AWS D17.1
Good attendance, attitude and work habits
No disqualifications on record for the past six months
Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, or granted asylee or refugee status)
