About The Position

Ferguson is seeking a Welder to perform welding work supporting the fire sprinkler industry. The role involves welding outlets onto steel pipe and completing specialty welding tasks, including spool pieces and flanges. The Welder inspects completed work for defects, dimensions, alignment, end preparations, and seam splits, and maintains a clean, safe welding station in accordance with quality and performance standards. The position also requires reporting equipment malfunctions, safety issues, and needed repairs. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Ferguson describes itself as a Fortune 500 company with approximately 36,000 associates across 1,700 locations. The role is eligible for a bonus or incentive plan. The stated pay range is $17.41–$26.11 per hour; the company notes that starting wages may be higher in some locations due to local or state wage requirements.
