About The Position
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Welders for projects located in the Madison, WI area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $24/hour based on experience and skill level. Requirements

Responsibilities
- Read and understand blueprints, geometrical call outs and weld symbols
- Use GMAW-P, GMAW-S, and GTAW to effectively weld weldments tanks and metal parts together per the weld process specification sheet
- Perform welding on a wide variety of metals and alloys including carbon steel galvanized steel stainless steel and aluminum
- Hand layouts of weldments
- Use fixtures gauges and jigs to manufacture welded parts to customer specifications
- Assist with creating work instructions
- Complete the first piece in process and final inspections using calipers height gauges protractors and tape measures
- Analyze weld processes and recommending process improvements
