Requirements

Extensive experience in structural fitting and welding, with a focus on aluminum.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in welding aluminum and steel.
Valid Class G driver’s license.
Strong customer orientation, a willingness to learn, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
Availability to work overtime as needed.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders.
A strong sense of pride in your work and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

Certifications in SMAW, GMAW, and/or FCAW are highly desirable.
CWB certification for all positions and/or welding supervisor is a strong asset.
Experience with rigging is an asset.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret engineered drawings with precision.
Fabricate and repair aluminum structures and equipment using advanced welding techniques and equipment.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Work outdoors in various weather conditions and temperature ranges.
Perform on-site fabrication and repair of structures and equipment as required.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior welders, fostering their development and ensuring adherence to best practices.
Assist in the assembly and disassembly of fleet equipment for orders.
