About The Position

Vidir Solutions Inc. is seeking ambitious, curious, and creative individuals to join their team of Vidir Heroes at their Arborg, Manitoba facility. This role is for a Welder on Day Shift (Monday-Friday 7am-3pm). The welder is responsible for welding a variety of Vidir products within a team environment, according to the Production schedule. Vidir emphasizes continuous growth, diversity, and lifting others up, operating under the Code of Vidir HEROICS. Their mission is to 'Make the world’s products safely accessible'.

Requirements

• Strong Math skills and spatial reasoning ability.
• Use of hand/power tools.
• Basic literacy skills.

Nice To Haves

• Welding trades certification would be considered an asset but is not required.
• 1-2 years of Welding Experience (MIG) would be considered an asset but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Weld all products according to weld drawings, compliant to CWB standards and regulations.
• Monitor parts inventory in respective areas of work and ensures parts are available to meet production requirements.
• Achieve and maintain required productivity levels (efficiency and utilization).
• Adhere to all Safety and Health Standards.
