About The Position

For over 50 years, BETA Fueling Systems in Reidsville, NC has led the aviation industry in the manufacture of reliable and safe refueling equipment. Everything we do is focused on improving the reliability, after sales support, and on-time delivery of equipment. The Welder will use hand-welding equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products to include but not limited to pressure vessels, pipes, frames, and brackets. Our Welders work in a team environment.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED preferred
3-5 years welding experience
MIT/TIG aluminum required, or post-secondary certificate in welding
Strong knowledge of arithmetic and fractions is a must
Ability to utilize measuring instruments such as tape measures, squares, protractors (digital & bubble), etc., to effectively set up and process weldments to engineering drawing dimensional requirements, along with properly documenting dimensional measurements to ensure conformance
General knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
Familiar with industrial safety environment and use of common protective or safety equipment such as safety shoes, welding helmet, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and hard hats
Using hands to handle, control or feel objects and tools
Ability to read written instructions
Lift and/or move materials up to 50 pounds independently
