About The Position

Sessa Sheet Metal is hiring a Sheet Metal Fabricator/Welder for work in its shop and in the field. The company performs commercial HVAC sheet metal fabrication and installation in the Baltimore, Maryland area. The role involves welding and fitting sheet metal, primarily using MIG welding, on steel and other listed metals. Welding supplies are provided on site; employees are responsible for typical hand tools used to work the metal. A company vehicle is not provided.

Requirements

• Welding certification, specifically AWS D901 Sheet Metal Welding.
• At least 3 years of MIG welding experience.
• Skilled in welding and fitting 18–10 gauge steel.
• Experience with galvanized steel, stainless steel, and aluminum (.050).
• Reliable transportation.
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Current, valid driver's license.
• Provide typical hand tools used to work metal.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fit sheet metal using MIG welding.
• Work with black iron, stainless steel, galvanized steel, and aluminum.
• Perform work in the shop and in the field.
