Sheet Metal Helper-Commercial HVAC
About The Position
Kuck Mechanical Contractors is seeking dependable, hardworking Sheet Metal Helpers to support its commercial HVAC installation team. The position involves working at various active project locations throughout Colorado, including Haxtun, Steamboat Springs, Granby, Carbondale, Durango, and Denver, and requires travel to assigned projects. Company-paid lodging and daily per diem are provided for qualifying out-of-town assignments. This is a full-time position paying $18.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience. Kuck Mechanical is a family-owned mechanical contracting company with more than 27 years of experience in commercial construction.
Requirements
- Willingness to learn the commercial HVAC trade.
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
- Ability to perform physically demanding construction work.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Willingness and ability to travel to assigned projects throughout Colorado.
Nice To Haves
- Previous construction or sheet metal experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with installing commercial HVAC ductwork, fittings, and sheet metal components.
- Help journeyman installers and foremen with daily installation tasks.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and prepare materials.
- Load, unload, and organize tools and materials.
- Maintain a clean and safe jobsite.
- Follow company safety procedures and supervisor instructions.
