About The Position

This position is for a Welder (ST2) and is open for contractor conversions only. The role requires prior non-code welding experience and the ability to perform welding in hard-to-reach and awkward positions. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. The position is safety-sensitive and may involve operating vehicles, equipment, or handling hazardous materials. The role requires the ability to walk/stand up to 10 hours per day and perform work while wearing specialized welding PPE.

Requirements

• Prior non-code welding experience
• Ability to perform welding in hard to reach and awkward positions
• Ability to walk/stand up to 10 hours per day
• Ability to perform work while wearing specialized welding PPE
• Legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States
• Good mechanical aptitude

• Ability to correctly prepare weld areas and set related equipment
• Ability to weld areas of fitted components in a strategic pattern to minimize or avoid warping due to post welding
