About The Position
Kapco Inc. is looking for a Welder II on our 1st shift at our Grafton, WI location. This role involves the daily operation of robotic welding work cells, ensuring the safe operation of robot loads and unloads fixtures, and performing quality checks using proper measuring devices. The position also requires ensuring all boxes have tare weight, proper tagging, and proper counts. Skills for this position are gained through on-the-job training, including changing tips, opening programs, and running a bulls-eye when needed. Mechanical aptitude, physical dexterity, and knowledge of welding are recommended.

Responsibilities
- Daily operation of the robotic welding work cells
- Safe operation of robot loads and unloads fixtures and ensures the overall quality of welded parts
- Performs quality checks using proper measuring devices during operation and completes quality records
- Ensure all boxes have tare weight, proper tagging, and proper counts
- All other duties as assigned
