About The Position
Kapco Inc. is looking for a Welder II on our 1st shift at our Grafton, WI location. This role involves the daily operation of robotic welding work cells, ensuring the safe operation of robot loads and unloads fixtures, and performing quality checks. Skills for this position are gained through on-the-job training.
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude
- Physical dexterity
- Knowledge of welding
Nice To Haves
- Skills for this position are gained through on the job training. This includes changing of tips, opening the program needed, and running a bulls-eye when needed.
Responsibilities
- Daily operation of the robotic welding work cells
- Safe operation of robot loads and unloads fixtures and ensures the overall quality of welded parts
- Performs quality checks using proper measuring devices during operation and completes quality records
- Ensure all boxes have tare weight, proper tagging, and proper counts
- All other duties as assigned
