About The Position
Under the direct supervision of the Facility Maintenance & Welding Shop Supervisor or Real Estate & Facility Op eration s Manager , be proficient in the following disciplines: electric arc, MIG, TIG, or oxyacetylene equipment in fusing or brazing ferrous and non-ferrous metals or non- aircraft applications. Perform simple clerical duties necessary in the completion of job-related paperwork.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Knowledge of Electric Arc, MIG, TIG, and Oxyacetylene welding tasks.
- Basic computer experience.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate non- aircraft support equipment such as work stands, work aids, carts, etc.
- Repair fuel tanks and fuel systems
- Perform other duties such as loading and unloading supplies
- Read blueprints and/or approved drawings
- Perform clerical work involved in preparing job related documentation
- Responsible for supporting company Safety Management System
- Comply with HSEQ policies and procedures
- All other duties as assigned
