About The Position

The Repair Cell Welder will be responsible for weld repairing various components. Welding experience is highly preferred. All Welding and grinding processes will be taught as part of the Voith training program. Requirements

• High School Degree or GED
• Manufacturing and/or Industrial environment experience preferred.
• Candidate must be able to use basic measuring equipment
• Candidate must have basic math skills
• Ability to work on various shifts, if required

Nice To Haves

• Welding experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Weld repair work on various rotors used in paper making
• Grinding on various rotors after weld repair has been done
• Some travel may be required into customer locations to assist with field work
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Highly motivated with willingness to learn
• Work unsupervised after training is complete
