About The Position

McGill Environmental Systems is hiring a Welder Fabricator for our facility in Delray Beach, FL. This role involves welding, fabricating, repairing, and modifying equipment, machinery, and structural components to support the safe and reliable operation of our mulch and soil processing facility. It's an opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in quality workmanship, problem-solving, and maintaining a safe, productive operation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous welding and fabrication experience in an industrial, manufacturing, construction, or production environment
• Ability to read drawings, sketches, and specifications
• Experience using fabrication tools, plasma cutters, torches, and power tools
• Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation to the Delray Beach facility
• Strong commitment to safety and quality

Nice To Haves

• Experience with MIG, TIG, Stick, and Arc welding preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication of steel, aluminum, and other metals
• Repair and modify conveyors, screens, hoppers, bins, and production equipment
• Fabricate parts and structures from concepts, drawings, and specifications
• Operate welding equipment including MIG, TIG, Stick, and Arc welders
• Use plasma cutters, torches, hand tools, and power tools
• Repair and reinforce industrial equipment to minimize downtime
• Assist with machinery installations and facility improvement projects
• Follow all safety procedures, hot-work requirements, and PPE guidelines
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Support maintenance and production teams as needed
