About The Position
KRB Machinery is seeking a skilled, full-time Welder/Fabricator to join our team on first shift. In this role, you’ll perform welding preparation, fabrication, and finishing operations to build high-quality products according to drawings, specifications, and work orders. This position is a great opportunity to be part of an employee-owned company (ESOP), where your contributions directly support the success of the team. Must have 5+ years weld experience.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ (five plus) years of related welding/fabrication experience.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Strong manual dexterity and ability to work with hands and tools.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as needed.
- Basic math and geometry skills for measurements and layout.
Nice To Haves
- Graduation from a welding program preferred.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
- Weld complex components using MIG and stick welding, including horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions.
- Fabricate machine frames, modules, and weld fixtures/jigs for repetitive production.
- Operate hand tools, thermal cutting torches, jacks, electric cranes, forklifts, and straightening presses.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following all safety regulations.
- Be a dependable team player, working with supervisors and colleagues to ensure collective success.
