About The Position

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client. This is a long-term contract role requiring the ability to obtain a Security Clearance. The position is in the Aerospace / Defense / Aviation industry and offers medical, dental, and vision insurance through Cigna, as well as bonus potential and priority access via a Tier 1 supplier. The shift is from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The role involves proficiency in various weld processes including GMAW and GTAW, welding materials such as Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, and Titanium. The candidate will read and interpret engineering and CAD drawings, perform accurate measurements, cutting, and detailing of materials, and conduct Quality Control on finished products to ensure compliance with specified performance standards and tolerances. Fabrication of quality parts and structures within specified dimensional tolerances is required. The role also involves performing simple mathematics and using fractional and decimal measurements with measuring devices, applying knowledge of aerospace processes for custom fabrication, and working in a fast-paced environment, multitasking across different projects as necessary. Manual fabrication tasks with hand and power tools will also be performed.

Requirements

Ability to obtain a Security Clearance.
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
High school diploma or equivalent, or technical school.
At least 5 years of metal fabrication experience.
Experience in manufacturing.
Knowledge of aerospace processes.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD models.
Proficient in GMAW and GTAW welding processes.
Experience welding Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, and Titanium.
Knowledge of fractional and decimal measurements and use of measuring devices.
Ability to perform Quality Control inspections and ensure compliance with tolerances.
