About The Position

This role involves performing various welding processes including electric resistance, oxyacetylene, plasma-arc, and TIG welding. The welder will work with a variety of metals and alloys, ensuring proper penetration, fusion, and structural integrity. Responsibilities include fabricating, assembling, or repairing metal structures according to blueprints, schematics, layouts, and work orders. The position also requires inspecting completed welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications, as well as maintaining welding equipment and tools in safe working condition. Adherence to all safety procedures, guidelines, and regulations in the welding area is mandatory. Collaboration with supervisors or team members is expected to coordinate work and ensure timely project completion.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of welding experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Working knowledge of welding equipment, materials, techniques, and processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
