About The Position

This role involves performing various welding processes, fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures. The position requires a strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, and the ability to interpret technical documents. The welder will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of their work, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety protocols. Collaboration with team members and supervisors is also a key aspect of this role.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of welding experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Working knowledge of welding equipment, materials, techniques, and processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform various welding processes including electric resistance, oxyacetylene, plasma‑arc, and TIG welding.
  • Weld a variety of metals and alloys, ensuring proper penetration, fusion, and structural integrity.
  • Fabricate, assemble, or repair metal structures according to blueprints, schematics, layouts, and work orders.
  • Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools in safe working condition.
  • Follow all safety procedures, guidelines, and regulations in the welding area.
  • Collaborate with supervisors or team members to coordinate work and ensure timely completion of projects.
