A Welder must be able to read and understand blueprints and build and weld details and parts. Our goal is not to meet expectations. Requirements

  • Welding, minimum 3 years experience.
  • Able to read and understand blueprints, rough drafts (sketches).
  • Able to build and weld details and parts to close tolerances.
  • Be able to weld, Aluminum, Stainless, Tool steels, Hot and cold rolled steels.
  • Braze, silver solder, cutting & other Gas welding Skills Required.
  • Proficient Mig (GMAW), and Tig (TGAW)
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Good verbal and written skills.
  • Proven organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and work with limited supervision.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Ability to explain how and why specific conclusions were reached.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to remain flexible to changing schedules and demands.
  • Ability to read and understand metric.

Nice To Haves

  • Build Jigs and fixtures for welding setups.
  • Capable to perform other shop duties required by the company. (i.e.: machining and/or assembly)

Responsibilities

  • Follow instructions given by supervisor quickly and efficiently with minimum supervision.
  • Provide basic hand tools and equipment needed to, build, weld, and inspect your work.
  • Able to read and understand blueprints, rough drafts (sketches).
  • Able to build and weld details and parts to close tolerances.
  • Be able to weld, Aluminum, Stainless, Tool steels, Hot and cold rolled steels.
