About The Position

As a Welder Advanced Level 3 here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in performing advanced welding tasks that require a high degree of skill and precision. You will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components and structures, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. In this role, you will impact the quality and reliability of our products by delivering expert welding craftsmanship that supports our manufacturing and production goals.

Requirements

• 5 years in heavy industrial/manufacturing environment performing welding and pipefitting tasks or 1 year heavy manufacturing welding experience with technical welding certification.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Have a good working knowledge of correcting pipe stress
• Be able to create stores reservations and be able to find stores stock
• 100% compliant with all HSE and EMOC procedures
• Uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced welding operations using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements
• Set up and operate welding equipment, including welding machines, torches, and other hand tools
• Inspect and test welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
• Maintain welding equipment and tools, performing regular maintenance and repairs as needed
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Qualified welder with experience in 4+ welding procedures.
• Skilled Journeyman Welder/Pipefitter.
• Proficient in pipefitting, welding, and fabrication.
• Works independently with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoots and repairs piping systems.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and results-driven.
• Delivers high-quality workmanship and meets project deadlines.
