About The Position

In this role, you will impact the manufacturing process by delivering expertly welded components that meet rigorous specifications, contributing to the overall durability and performance of Honeywell’s products.

Requirements

Proven experience in advanced welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of welding codes, safety standards, and quality control procedures to ensure compliance and high-quality welds.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings to execute precise welding tasks.
Experience with welding inspection tools and techniques to verify weld integrity and dimensional accuracy.
Familiarity with welding equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and ensure safety.

Nice To Haves

Technical certification or associate degree in Welding Technology or related field.
5+ years of experience as a welder in aerospace, defense, or industrial manufacturing sectors.
Knowledge of automated welding systems and robotic welding technologies is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to maintain high-quality standards.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to improve welding processes and product quality.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced welding operations using various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding to fabricate and repair metal parts according to engineering specifications.
Interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings to ensure accurate and precise welds.
Conduct inspections of welded components to verify quality and compliance with safety and industry standards.
Maintain welding equipment and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot welding issues and implement process improvements.
