About The Position

Daifuku is a U.S.-based provider of intelligent material handling systems, designing, manufacturing, integrating, and installing intra-logistics solutions. The Welder 2 joins metal parts using high heat to form permanent bonds. The role is full-time on the second shift, Monday through Friday, from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The listed pay range is $24.00 to $30.00 per hour. High school education or equivalent is preferred; a welding certificate or associate degree is also noted. The posting gives both a minimum of one year of welding experience in the overview and a 3–5-year experience requirement in the qualifications.

Ability to identify exact measurements on a tape measure.
Good mechanical aptitude.

Team orientation.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

Operate a welding machine that feeds wire to bond materials.
Interpret blueprints to plan work.
Determine the welding position and type of metal to be fused.
Select and set up welding equipment.
Ensure welds meet standards and specifications.
