About The Position

Welders perform MIG, aluminum, TIG, electric, or robotic welding under the direction of the area supervisor. They fabricate standardized or customized parts for product-line assembly, with the goal of creating a high-quality finished product. The role is on the second shift, Tuesday through Friday, from 5:00 PM to 3:00 AM. The posting lists hourly pay of $32.60 for Welder I and $33.85 for Welder II.

Requirements

• High school diploma or certification.
• Pass the internal written and physical weld test.
• Understanding of welding fundamentals.
• Basic welding experience and/or training.
• Basic knowledge of MIG welding equipment.
• Ability to follow direction and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Comply with company and site safety rules.
• Operate all equipment needed for the job safely and effectively.
• Flex across different products and work areas to support business needs.
• Train new employees or employees learning new work areas on work instructions and standard work.
• Follow established procedures, processes, and policies.
• Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to execute welding tasks accurately.
• Assist with the robotic welder.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
