About The Position

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Weld Technician-3rd Shift at our Troy, IL facility! The core hours are Sunday- Thursday, 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $25.44 per hour, plus a $.50 cent per hour shift premium. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Requirements

• A minimum of six (6) months experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to use a tape measure and calipers.
• Must be able to wear PPE, including helmets, aprons, sleeves, gloves.

• Previous Welding Experience
• Welding Certification

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure weld integrity and product standards.
• Operate an Overhead Crane to safely move materials and components.
