Weld Technician - 2nd Shift

About The Position
The Welding Technician will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and precision of welded components. The technician will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints and welding symbols, participating in quality inspections, and collaborating within a cross-functional team of skills welders. Equipment used in this role includes robotic welders, hand welders, progressive welders, and AutoMig welding equipment.
Requirements
- A minimum of six (6) months’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.
- No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Troy, IL will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
- Must be able to use a tape measure and calipers.
- Must be able to wear PPE, including helmets, aprons, sleeves, gloves.
