About The Position

This role involves the placement of parts onto weld fixtures for automated welding, followed by their removal and placement into a finished goods container. The operator will also perform quality control checks as documented by the quality department.

Requirements

• Must be hand/eye coordinated.
• Must be able to comprehend and follow instructions.
• Must be able to load and unload weld fixture.
• Must be able to do visual inspections of parts as they come off the weld machine and pack into finish goods container.
• Must work well in a team environment.
• Complete orientation instructions.
• On the job training per for assigned assets.
• Knit gloves, protective sleeves, safety glasses, ear plugs, and steel toe shoes.
• Must be able to sit, reach above shoulders, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs on a consistent basis.
• Must be able to stand 10–12-hour shifts daily.
• Must have physical dexterity.

Nice To Haves

• Must be able or take appropriate training to check parts on gage fixturing according to Quality Inspection Reports.

Responsibilities

• Place parts on weld fixtures for machine welding.
