Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be able to lift at least 35 pounds frequently
  • Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours per day
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen.
  • Suggest methods of improvement, (i.e. Continuous Improvement Plan)
  • Available for training as required
  • Will have the ability to work a schedule that allows completion of the job on a daily basis.
  • Detail oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to understand and follow written work instructions
  • Available to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

  • Operate machines such as a robotic welder, assembly station, or other types of equipment
  • Set-up and/or change over all tooling
  • Conduct "break test" at designated time intervals, keep log and make adjustments as necessary
  • Keep all safety curtains/guards in place during operation
  • Final visual audit inspection of all parts leaving welder area for quality
  • Fill in all reports properly and completely
  • Maintain good housekeeping around equipment.
  • Report all quality, production or safety problems to the production manager
  • Maintain all tools in proper places
  • Operate for trucks as required
  • Suggest methods of improvement, (i.e. Continuous Improvement Plan)
  • Re-work parts as per instructions
  • Preventative maintenance as instructed
