About The Position

Weekend Directional Service is seeking reliable independent contractors to place and pick up temporary directional signs on local routes. This remote opportunity is intended for applicants who live in or near the listed ZIP code. Routes can be completed independently, in any order, within specified time windows, and generally involve 30–60 signs, taking about 45 minutes to 1.5 hours once familiar with the area. Contractors use their own vehicles, store signs safely between weekends, and may accept or decline routes, but must complete routes they commit to. The role offers supplemental weekend earnings, with the opportunity to increase earnings by taking on additional routes. No benefits or guaranteed hours are provided; contractors are responsible for their own fuel, expenses, taxes, and insurance.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Current auto insurance.
• Reliable vehicle with space for 30–60 signs.
• Smartphone (iPhone or Android, approximately four years old or newer).
• Ability to lift and place signs outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to hammer stakes 6–8 inches into the ground as needed.
• Dependability to complete routes within required time windows.

Responsibilities

• Place signs between Friday 5:00 PM and Saturday 10:00 AM.
• Pick up signs between Sunday 6:00 PM and Monday 8:00 AM.
• Follow provided Google Maps routes and/or placement lists.
• Complete routes in any order within the allowed time windows.
• Store signs safely between weekends.
• Use a personal vehicle to complete local routes.
• Hammer stakes 6–8 inches into the ground as needed.
• Complete any route accepted within the required time windows.
