About The Position

Weekend Directional Service is seeking reliable independent contractors to place and pick up temporary directional signs on local routes. The independent work can be completed in a few hours each weekend. Installers use their own vehicle, follow provided Google Maps routes and/or placement lists, and may complete routes in any order within the specified time windows. Most routes involve 30–60 signs and typically take 45 minutes to 1.5 hours once familiar with the area. Contractors must store signs safely between weekends and are responsible for their own fuel, expenses, taxes, and insurance. Routes may be accepted or declined, but any route accepted must be completed. No benefits or guaranteed hours are provided.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Current auto insurance.
• Reliable vehicle with space for 30–60 signs.
• Smartphone (iPhone or Android, approximately four years old or newer).
• Ability to lift and place signs outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to hammer stakes 6–8 inches into the ground as needed.
• Dependability to complete routes within required time windows.
• Applicant should live in or near the listed zip code.

Responsibilities

• Place signs between Friday 5:00 PM and Saturday 10:00 AM.
• Pick up signs between Sunday 6:00 PM and Monday 8:00 AM.
• Follow provided Google Maps routes and/or placement lists.
• Complete routes in any order within the allowed time windows.
• Store signs safely between weekends.
• Use a personal vehicle to complete local routes.
• Complete any route accepted within the required time windows.
• Hammer stakes 6–8 inches into the ground as needed.
