About The Position

Weekend Directional Service is seeking reliable independent contractors to place and pick up temporary directional signs on local routes. This remote opportunity is suited to someone who lives in or near the listed ZIP code. Work can be completed independently in a few hours each weekend, with flexible route order as long as the work is done within the specified time windows. Most routes involve 30–60 signs and typically take 45 minutes to 1.5 hours once the installer is familiar with the area. Installers use their own vehicle, follow supplied Google Maps routes and/or placement lists, and store signs safely between weekends. Starting earnings are $70–$125 per weekend, with potential to earn more by accepting additional routes; the posting states that the average installer makes approximately $300 per weekend. Training is provided by video and manager support. This is a 1099 independent contractor position, not employment. Contractors are responsible for their own fuel, expenses, taxes, and insurance; there are no benefits or guaranteed hours. Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Current auto insurance.
• Reliable vehicle with space for 30–60 signs.
• Smartphone (iPhone or Android, approximately four years old or newer).
• Ability to lift and place signs outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to hammer stakes 6–8 inches into the ground as needed.
• Dependability to complete routes within required time windows.
• Responsibility for own fuel, expenses, taxes, and insurance as an independent contractor.

Responsibilities

• Place temporary signs between Friday 5:00 PM and Saturday 10:00 AM.
• Pick up signs between Sunday 6:00 PM and Monday 8:00 AM.
• Follow provided Google Maps routes and/or placement lists.
• Complete routes in any order within the allowed time windows.
• Store signs safely between weekends.
• Use a personal vehicle to complete local routes.
• Complete committed routes consistently and correctly.
