About The Position

Weekend Directional Service is seeking reliable independent contractors to place and pick up temporary directional signs. This independent role can be completed in a few hours each weekend and is described as a remote opportunity for applicants who live in or near the listed ZIP code. Contractors use their own vehicle to complete local routes, follow provided Google Maps routes and/or placement lists, and may complete routes in any order within the required time windows. Most routes consist of 30–60 signs and typically take 45 minutes to 1.5 hours once the installer is familiar with the area. Installers store signs safely between weekends. Earnings start at $70–$125 per weekend, with opportunities to earn more by accepting additional routes. Training is provided by video and manager support. This is a 1099 independent contractor position, not employment; contractors are responsible for their own fuel, expenses, taxes, and insurance. There are no benefits or guaranteed hours. Contractors may accept or decline routes, but must complete routes they commit to.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Current auto insurance.
• Reliable vehicle with space for 30–60 signs.
• Smartphone (iPhone or Android, approximately four years old or newer).
• Ability to lift and place signs outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to hammer stakes 6–8 inches into the ground as needed.
• Dependability to complete routes within required time windows.

Responsibilities

• Place signs between Friday 5:00 PM and Saturday 10:00 AM.
• Pick up signs between Sunday 6:00 PM and Monday 8:00 AM.
• Follow provided Google Maps routes and/or placement lists.
• Complete routes in any order within the allowed time windows.
• Store signs safely between weekends.
• Use a personal vehicle to complete local routes.
• Complete any route accepted or committed to.
